Story Island Reviews is a children’s book review site… with a DIFFERENCE.

All the reviews are done by school children in the UK. By writing the reviews themselves, it provides the pupils with the opportunity to write for a purpose and a real audience.

Story Island Reviews was set up with the aim of increasing children’s exposure to new children’s literature, promote literacy and engage children as future readers.

All review copies are DONATED to the school which the children attend. Therefore, it is a great way to get more books into schools, at no cost to the school other than providing a review.

* Books are supplied for free by the publishers to be reviewed.
